Description

Liljaskolan, Vännäs adult education, is looking for a vocational teacher/instructor in the field of construction equipment operation to teach in our training program for construction equipment operators.

We are looking for someone who is engaged and can inspire, as well as knowledgeable in the industry and preferably has experience in teaching and wants to be part of our team.

The work will be performed both during the day and in the evening.

Responsibilities

Your role as a teacher is to plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching in the fundamentals of construction and machine operation, primarily wheel loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, and telehandlers. The training includes both theory and practice. Regular tasks such as mentorship, teamwork, participation in systematic quality work, and professional development are also included.

Qualifications

A teaching license is desirable. Experience from other pedagogical work is meritorious.

Requirements for vocational certificates/training certificates: Excavator, backhoe loader, wheel loader construction, loader, and telehandler.

We prefer that you are connected to BYN and trained as a supervisor through TYA, but this is not a requirement.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Conditions

The position is permanent at 100% with a start date according to agreement. Permanent employment applies if you have a teaching degree and a teaching license in the field; otherwise, it is a temporary position for the school year 25/26.
